Gifts to the Magnet of the Heart Fund are used to help offset periodic deficits in the operating budget of the Church. The budget of the Summit Lighthouse runs from January 1^st to December 31^st each year. During the course of the year, the Church occasionally experiences deficits in the budget where Church income does not meet expenses. Gifts to this fund can be given anytime and are used to balance the budget.
