Buddha Light Wood

This light-colored wood Buddha has an expression on his face that is rarely seen. Quite charming really. His hands form the Vitarka Mudra or Teaching Mudra. The right hand is at shoulder level, the tips of the thumb and index finger touch each other, forming a circle. The left lays in the lap, palm up.

This pose symbolizes the Buddha teaching after enlightenment. The circle of the right hand maintains the constant flow of energy, no beginning nor end, only perfection.
