Unusual ornate looking brass dorje. Dorje is Tibetan for vajra. It means diamond and also thunderbolt.

The Dorje should be used with a bell of similar size. The vajra is the male principle and the bell the feminine. These two are the two most common ritual objects used in Vajrayana Buddhism.

Vajrayana comes from Mahayana Buddhism. It means Tantric Buddhism, Esoteric Buddhism and is also known as the Diamond Vehicle or Thunderbolt Vehicle. The thunderbolt can shatter ignorance.

Maybe we should create a warning label for these. It would say, "Be careful how you use this. You could make karma."
