Tibetan Chorten or Stupa, Resin with bronze finish, 7 inches
Availability: Out of stock
Chorten is Tibetan for Stupa. A Chorten actually represents an outward expression of the Buddha’s enlightened body, speech and mind. This one is a pagoda stupa. The origin of the pagoda can be traced to the stupa, a dome shaped monument, was used as a commemorative monument associated with storing sacred relics.
Engraved with an arrangement of Buddhist motifs, this miniature pagoda has been hand painted for a faux bronze finish. This beautiful detailed Chorten would be right at home on a small Tibetan altar.
