Chenrezig the second most popular Buddha in Tibet after Guru Rinpoche. He is called Avalokitesvara in India. His mantra is probably the most famous one in the world: “Om Mani Padme Hum,” which is also the mantra of Kuan Yin. This beautiful and detailed thangka of Chenrezig shows why he is the buddha of love and compassion.

A brilliant sky-blue wish-fulfilling jewel is held at his heart. This represents Bodhicitta or altruistic love for all sentient beings. The arm on his right holds a crystal mala. The other hand holds a pristine lotus.

Comes with silk brocade frame, wooden stick on the bottom with brass dowel on both sides.

• Hand painted in Nepal
• Size of Thangka with Silk Brocade: 30 X 47 inches
• Size of the Canvas: 18 X 24 inches
