Manjushrii signifies intelligence, wisdom, mastery of the teaching, the power of eloquence and memory. He is always depicted with a sword raised over his head. It cuts through ignorance. His other hand forms the teaching mudra. He is the great teacher of the Buddhas of past ages and of the future Buddha Maitreya. He is the spiritual friend of Bodhisattvas. So, all you aspiring Bodhisattvas out there, you would do well to give Manjushrii’s Mantra.
