2372AX: In 1970 Mark and Elizabeth Prophet visited Mother Theresa in India. Annice Booth describes the scene (from ):
This blessed modern-day saint was an inspiration to all of us. You could feel the love radiating from this tiny little person dressed in her white cotton sari with the blue border.
As busy as she was, she still spent several hours with us and showed us around her ashram. One vignette I especially remember is seeing her nuns out in the open courtyard, doing their mountain of laundry by hand with only a bucket of water and soap for each one…
We were struck by the love, joy and peace radiating from all the nuns and the entire ashram in the midst of all their busy, physical activities. She showed us their prayer chapel and reminded us that they could not possibly endure the life they were living and their service to the "poorest of the poor" if they did not have a personal life of devotion and dedication to Jesus and his mission.
