We were climbing the face of El Capitan. All of a sudden this extraordinary looking gentleman passed us at twice our speed. He was solo and free climbing. We weren't.

He was an anachronism on the world's most famous sheer granite wall. We were quite sure he was out of place, but when he looked at us with piercing eyes, we became the anomaly. We still don't understand how that happened.

He was wearing clothing straight out of a J. Peterman catalog. But what caught our eye was a tea infuser water bottle hanging from his belt on a carabiner. The grey neoprene covering with bamboo at both ends of the bottle, gentle swayed with every movement toward the summit.

We asked the stranger his name and what kind of tea he was drinking. With a quick nod of his head he said his name was M something, we couldn't hear the rest. Lost in the wind was the name of the tea as well. We're thinking it might have been Darjeeling tea with yak butter and a small amount of organic honey (from the Tibetan Plateau). But we could be wrong.

Full disclosure: We aren't sure if any of it occurred in the physical. The events above may not have actually happened.
