This image was painted by one of my best friends. He did it under the direction of Elizabeth Clare Prophet. She wanted a modern day portrayal of Mother Mary, not so much the Via Dolorosa approach that has been used in the past. Together they captured something pretty special.
Some traditions in the Catholic Church called Mother Mary the "Queen of Heaven and the Earth," thus we see a globe. But more importantly, her love is so great that it encompasses a planet.
The master jeweler placed the image on chrysocolla. The color green is Mother Mary's ray and is also the color of the healing ray.

A spectrographic study suggests material identified as chrysocolla may be a mixture of the copper hydroxide spertiniite and chalcedony.[
