Brass Butter Lamps, 2.5 inches
Availability: Out of stock
Butter lamps are traditionally placed on the Buddhist altar as an offering. Butter lamps are offered during meditation practice or ceremonies with the wish that all beings be free of suffering and reach enlightenment. A wick is inserted in a small indent in the center of the bowl. They are then filled with oil or butter. We know you might not have Yak butter around the house, so coconut oil, butter or vegetable oil will work. Even better, a beeswax tea light will work just fine.
