Two lectures by Elizabeth Clare Prophet, one dictation by Mother Mary.
"It's a lecture about your right to become who you really are."
Elizabeth Clare Prophet opens her lecture by saying, "The Lost Teachings of Jesus on women's rights is not a lecture only about women, or only for women. It's a lecture about your right to become who you really are.
Jesus started a revolution for woman. But the leaders of the early church didn't pass the torch! They dropped it! And for two thousand years Jesus' message on woman has been lost.
Elizabeth Clare Prophet discusses the revolution Jesus started for woman through his ministry; the later denial by orthodox Christians of woman's rightful role in the Church; the principle of the Divine Feminine as presented in Hebrew, Gnostic and Hindu teachings; and the masculine and feminine natures in both man and woman.
She also reads the brief gospel of Mary Magdalene from the Gnostic Codexes.
She notes, "as Elaine Pagels concludes, what interested the Gnostics "far more than past events attributed to the 'historical Jesus,' was the possibility of encountering the risen Christ in the present. The resurrection, they insisted, was not a unique event in the past: instead, it symbolized how Christ's presence could be experienced in the present. What mattered was not literal seeing, but spiritual vision."
How we experience Christ's presence today is in the living, vibrant person of the Ascended Master Jesus Christ who is with us now."
